We collaborate and learn from the Harm Reduction communities and support traditional medicines and intersectionalities.

All these assessments should be free, and our Board of Directors is working towards securing funding and designing fundraising opportunities to be able to offer our services to those who need them the most.

We acknowledge that our work takes place on the traditional territories of many Indigenous nations. In Toronto, we are on the traditional land of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples, and this area is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.

In St. Thomas, we are on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinabek, Attiwonderonk (Neutral), and Mississauga peoples, and we recognize the ongoing presence of the Munsee-Delaware Nation, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, and Oneida Nation of the Thames. This region is part of the McKee Purchase Treaty (Treaty 2).

We are committed to ongoing learning and to acting in solidarity with Indigenous communities in both regions.

Unlike most clinics, we do not retain a percentage of service fees. Instead, 100% of your payment goes directly to the professionals providing your care, who set their own rates in accordance with the guidelines of their respective regulatory colleges. We charge a one-time administrative fee to cover the organizational and logistical costs associated with coordinating the full assessment process.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT OFFICIALS FORMS:

Our Mental Health Nurse practitioners are happy to help you with Ontario official forms, insurer requests, Tax Credit forms, and other necessary bureaucracy that our Neurodivergent clients may need. However:

1) First find out at your School’s Health department, with your GP or in the Health Unit that you usually go to. They are OHIP covered, and can do this too, based on the official diagnosis you will have in your hands.

2) If you want our NP to do this for you, you need to book an additional appointment at which you need to be present, and is not included in the cost of the diagnosis. If you have an urgent need send us a note so we can try to bypass the waiting list.

If you have difficulties with the forms themselves, our System Navigators will help you with one-on-one sessions paid by donation. No one will be turned down for lack of funds.

Our Mission : By Neurodivergent Minds, For Neurodivergent Lives

PRIDE - Neurodiversity Pride - Queer Pride

As we grow, and receive grants and donations, we hope we will also be able to offer these services for free, like they should be! In the meantime, we keep our costs and structure very lean and only charge our practitioner’s fees and a small administrative charge to cover our monthly organizational costs.

We’re a nonprofit created by autistic and SOGIE divergent individuals who understand the unique challenges of living in a world designed for the neuromajority. Our mission is to make diagnosis, support, resources, and community more accessible to all neurodivergent individuals, especially those who often face barriers in traditional health systems.

Frequently Asked Question ( FAQ )

Welcome to NeuroInclusive!
As a nonprofit dedicated to providing transparent, affirming, and accessible assessments for ADHD, AuDHD, and Autism (ASD), we understand that seeking a diagnosis can bring up many questions and concerns. Here are some commonly asked questions along with our responses to help you navigate our services

  • Our tests and assessments are conducted by Psychometrists who are also Registered Psychotherapists (RP) and are trained clinical psychologists in other countries but cannot use that designation in Canada. They work together and/or under the supervision of a Clinical Psychologist, or specialized Mental Health Nurse Practitioners authorized to provide official diagnoses in the Province of Ontario. All staff members adhere to neurodiversity-affirming practices, focusing on both strengths and challenges, and are registered with their respective regulatory colleges.

  • At NeuroInclusive, we celebrate and affirm neurodiversity. It is a delicate dance between providing a medically or neuropsychologically sound, official diagnosis that uses the standardized language that a Hospital or a University would accept, and writing in a respectful, affirming manner. Our reports and assessments not only address challenges associated with ADHD and Autism or learning challenges, but also highlight individual strengths and appreciate the coping skills of our clients/patients.. We believe in recognizing the unique ways neurodivergent individuals process and experience the world, and see them as net contributors to our society.

  • Fees are always based on a service provided. We are a nonprofit and charge only a one-time-fee to cover our organizational costs ($180 to $300). The total fees for assessment and diagnosis (including full 30-60 pages comprehensive reports are as follows:
